I’m always in shock when people tell me they don’t eat sweet potato because it’s a carb. Um… do you not want energy?

If we negate our most important food source of energy then what are we doing to our bodies? While I maintain that like all foods, carbs should be eaten in moderation, but they definitely shouldn’t be left off the food chain. There is nothing wrong with them!

When you choose your carb though, make sure they’re a wholefood. That way you’re getting the best out of the carb that you choose.

Other reasons to eat carbs:
– They fill you up
– They curb your hunger
– They control blood sugar levels and diabetes
– They increase your metabolism and blast belly fat
– They boost your mood
